Definition

Specifies the evaluation date and time, which the commodity pricing engine (CPE) uses to check the validity of potential pricing objects.

Use

In CPE customizing, a lot of objects have a Valid from timestamp. The CPE compares this timestamp with the evaluation date and time. Only objects with a timestamp lower or equal to the evaluation timestamp will be considered for the evaluation.

Evaluation date and time are provided by the calling application, for example, by the pricing date of the document item.
