Definition
Indicates that an error or missing data affects the commodity pricing engine (CPE) formula evaluation. The system informs the calling application about this block.
Use
This block can now be passed to the corresponding document item to influence follow-up processes, such as billing.
You can use specific routines to set blocking reasons when a requested currency exchange rate or price quotation is missing during the formula evaluation. The blocking reason is then set on term level and passed on to formula level. You can use specific Customizing settings to pass these blocking reasons to the corresponding document items.
CPE blocking reasons can be defined in the Customizing activity Define CPE Blocking Reasons.
In SD, CPE blocking reasons can be assigned in the Customizing activity Assign CPE Blocking Reasons to SD Blocking Reasons.
Dependencies
Example
- 0C (Missing Currency Exchange Rate) can be set by using date substitution routine 3, 13 or 23 for missing exchange rates.
- 0Q (Missing Price Quotation) can be set by using date substitution routine 3, 13 or 23 for missing price quotations.
