Definition

You can calculate transfer prices using any valuation strategy that is used exclusively in CO-PA planning.

To do so, enter a transfer price variant and specify the CO-PA value field in which you want the transfer price to be stored.

You define variants for transfer prices in Customizing for Profit Center Accounting in the section Transfer Prices -> Basic Settings for Pricing.

Note

Note that valuation using transfer prices is only possible in planning. Consequently, valuation strategies that call for transfer prices can only be used with points of valuation "03" (manual planning) or "04" (automatic planning).

Each step in a CO-PA valuation strategy is determined by one of the following:

• Entering a costing sheet/pricing procedure (and application key)
• Selecting the material cost estimate indicator
• Entering a user exit
• Entering a transfer price variant and corresponding CO-PA value field.
