In this field, enter the name of the CO-PA quantity field whose values you want stored in the standard unit of measure.
Definition
A CO-PA standard quantity field is a user-defined CO-PA quantity field that contains all quantities in one standard unit of measure.
This unit is the one specified in the field "Unit".
The CO-PA standard quantity field is updated for actual data on the basis of the quantity transferred to the source quantity field. The source quantity is suppled by the application that transfers data to CO-PA. This quantity is always translated to the unit of the standard quantity, and the result is updated in the standard quantity field. Note that it is not possible to map data from another application directly to the standard quantity field.
Note
You should choose your standard unit of measure so that all material quantities can be translated into that unit. You should also make sure that the standard unit of measure for all materials is either the base unit of measure or the alternative unit of measure in the material master record. If a translation to the standard unit of measure is not possible, the system issues an error message when actual data is transferred to CO-PA. The documents with which this happens cannot be updated in CO-PA.
