Definition

The indicator is used in activity-independent planning to specify whether the input of an overall value is interpreted as fixed (" ") or as variable ("X").

If the flag is set to "X", during activity-independent transactions the variable field groups are ready for input, but the fixed are not.

In activity-dependent planning or in planning with fixed/variable separation, the overall values entered are defaulted to fixed (" ") or variable ("X").
