Use

After choosing the required object type in the dropdown box for the field Find, you enter the object ID or description in this field.

If you do not know the exact ID or description, you can precede or follow your entry with an asterisk to search generically. If you do not know a certain character in the description, the underscore '_' can be used as a replacement character. However, if you explicitly want to use the underscore in the search string, the escape character '#' must be entered before the underscore. (For example, a product description begins with 'CH_'. You therefore enter the search string 'CH#_*'.)

To search for objects meeting your selection criteria, choose either Start or Enter.

Dependencies

You can restrict the search by choosing object-typical criteria (such as Category) from the dropdown box for the field By. You then specify the criteria (for example, the specific category) in the field that appears below.
