Definition

Use

By specifying an interval (in this case, the upper limit of the interval), you can restrict the value range of an attribute.

The values specified here are inherited by lower-level categories in the category hierarchy, and can in turn be restricted further at lower levels in the following ways:

  • An interval derived from a higher-level category can be restricted further or the values of this interval reduced to single values.
  • Single values allowed at a higher category level can be excluded.

Once a category has been assigned products, the value range can no longer be restricted. It can however be extended by larger intervals, or additional intervals and single values.
