Documentation
Definition
Activates the functionality for referencing product data from an individual object. The product data is therefore available for the individual object for display, for example, in the individual object maintenance function and for use in business processes.
Use
Dependencies
Once the reference function has been activated:
- You can specify the data you wish to reference in category maintenance. To do this, set the References indicator for the relevant set types on the Set Types tab page. This indicator can only be set once the reference function has been activated.
- You can specify the reference product to be used in individual object maintenance.
- So that individual objects do not reference unsuitable products, you can specify for the relevant products that a check be performed.
Any changes made to referenced product data also apply to the individual objects concerned and appear in the individual object data the next time it is accessed.
