Definition

When uploading product data, you can choose whether the product should be created as an industrial material or retail material.

This indicator means that the product will be created as an industrial material in the OLTP System.

The default setting for creating products is Industrial material. If the setting is changed to Retail material, this setting is retained until you log off from the system, provided you do not change the setting again.

If you want to ensure that the default setting Industrial material is always used whenever you log onto the system, you can assign the parameter ID CRM_OLTP_OBJ_TYPE the value 01 by choosing System -> User profile -> Own data and then Parameters in the tab.
