When you create an attribute, auxiliary attributes may also need to be created, depending on the data type concerned.

For example, a currency field is automatically generated for an amount field. In previous functionality (up to Release 2.0B) a standard data element (COMT_SET_WAERS) used to be referenced.

This has now been replaced by functionality which explicitly generates auxiliary attributes.

These auxiliary attributes are not available to the user for maintenance within attribute maintenance, but are merely stored in the table COMC_ATTRIBUTE.
