Definition

Use

By specifying an interval (in this case, the upper limit of the interval), you can restrict the value range of a domain. As a result, users may enter only values within this interval for this attribute when maintaining objects to which a set type with this attribute has been assigned.

You can enter an interval for an attribute only for the following data types:

  • Decimal number
  • Integer
  • Character string

With the data type Checkbox, the system defines the values possible (<blank> and X) automatically.

The CRM System checks whether single values and also intervals overlap.

Entering a value in this field requires you to specify the lower limit of the interval on the same line in the Lower limit column.
