Definition

For ledger comparison, you have the option of including two additional dimensions (such as business and/or function area) in the comparison. In this case, the comparison will take place at the account level as well as at a more detailed level.

Normally, field names are the same in the base ledger and the comparison ledger. However, sometimes the fields may have different names but the same meaning (such as RBUSA-GSBER). In this case, you have to enter different field names for the base and comparison ledgers.

Note

If a clearing posting takes place as part of Euro conversion, data is also posted at this level.
