Documentation
Definition
Number that identifies a spool request in the SAP spool.
Note that spool numbers are not assigned sequentially.
Use
Dependencies
- Whether or not a spool list is created depends on the scope of the log that you have defined in Customizing for the Search under Define Business Objects for Search Engine Service.
- If there are no new change pointers at the time of delta indexing, the indexing program is terminated as quickly as possible and no spool list is written. A message appears in the job log saying that all object changes have already been transferred to the search engine.
- If the indexing program terminates due to a runtime error, the spool list cannot be written, even if a spool order number has already been assigned. When you attempt to display the log, a corresponding error message appears.
