Documentation
Definition
Specifies whether the relation index is active.
Use
An active relation index is considered by the standard programs for inclusion in indexing.
By resetting this indicator, you can exclude a relation index from the indexing without deleting the corresponding Customizing entries or indeed the relation index itself.
Dependencies
The system automatically sets this indicator if an index is created or activated in the administration UI of the search engine service (transaction SES_ADMIN). You can also reset it there.
If the indexing program comes across an implementation error in the interface IF_COM_SE_BUSOBJ_REL when indexing the relations of a business object, then the system automatically resets the indicator. The spool list of the indexing program informs you of this. The indicator is also displayed in the index monitor.
