Definition

The switching structure is used in cost component splitting for price calculation to change the assignment of the cost components.

Use

A cost component structure determines which cost elements are assigned to which cost component. As a rule, the cost component breakdown is kept for allocations between cost centers. However, you may wish to allocate costs to different receiver cost components. To do so, use the switchinging structure.

The switchinging structure determines which sender cost component is allocated to which receiver cost component. You can specify the switchinging structure in the activity type planning of the sender.
