Definition
The reference document is that which generates the CO document. The reference document number is determined according to document type:
- Reference document type A: number of the settlement document
- Reference document type F: number of the financial accounting document
- Reference document type K: number of the cost accounting document
- Reference document type R: number of the accounting document
Reference document type F appears only in documents posted before Release 3.0. As of Release 3.0 an accounting number is also generated for financial accounting documents and the reference found using reference document type R.
