Definition
Key for selecting and displaying objects (for example, operations or components) in the order information system.
Use
The overall profile contains all the profiles that are needed in order to work with the information system. The overall profile must be created in Customizing, but can be temporarily changed in part in the information system using the function Object Selection.
The overall profile controls:
- Which objects are displayed in the information system
- To which of these displayed objects the object overview is expanded
- How the objects are displayed in the object overview and the object detail lists. This is defined for each object using an individual object profile or object layout.
Dependencies
You can create and change layout-based overall profiles in Customizing for Shop Floor Control or Process Order (Define Profile for Order Information System).
You can create and change overall profiles for the "classic" object overview using the function Order Information System: Overall Profiles.
