Use

If during the valuation method you have made an entry in the unit of measure field, then you specify here the unit of measure used to record the quantities on this row ID.

Procedure

Enter a unit of measure if you specified in the Quantities field that units of measure are to be used as row IDs.

Dependencies

If you change the unit of measure after a unit of measure has already been updated on an object, then this object continues to use the unit of measure under which quantities have already been updated. The new unit of measure is valid for new objects.

Use

You can assign a unit of measure to each value category. When you maintain a unit of measure for a value category, the system updates the posted quantities in the project information database. You can evaluate quantities in:

  • EIS
  • The structure overviews for the percentage of completion and earned value.
