Definition
Field for specifying detailed account assignments.
Use
In detailed account assignment you can define account assignments by valuation area and business area as well as by company code. You must specify one of these organizational units. The account assignment then applies to characteristics of the other organizational unit for which no specific entry exists. For company code and cost element you must define which organizational unit must be entered for further detail.
Example
Assume you have entered cost center 1 as the default account assignment for a company code and cost element. The business area is defined as an obligatory entry for detailed account assignments. The following detailed account assignments are defined:
Valuation area Business area Cost center
0001 2
0002 0001 3
0003 4 not allowed
The account assignment object for business area 0001 and valuation area 0002 is cost center 3. Cost center 2 is the account assignment object for all other valuation areas in combination with business area 0001, and cost center 1 is the account assignment object for all other business areas irrespective of the valuation area.
