Definition

Any string of characters that serves as a lock parameter in addition to the plant when program RCOCB004 is used to send process messages. This program is started as a job. The lock group makes sure that two jobs with the same selection criteria in a plant cannot work in parallel. Several jobs with the same lock group cannot be active in a plant in parallel.

If you do not enter a lock group, the lock is set generically at the plant level. This means, only one send job can be active per plant.
