Definition
By setting this indicator, you specify that the actual BOM is reduced in multilevel material price determination if extreme price changes appear as a result of large multilevel variances. You can carry out multilevel price determination through reduction of the actual BOM.
If you do not set the indicator, the faulty materials are not costed. Pay attention to the messages.
For more information, choose SAP Library -> Accounting -> Controlling -> Product Cost Controlling -> Actual Costing/Material Ledger -> Multilevel Actual Costing -> Costing Run: Multilevel Actual Costing -> Process Flow: Multilevel Actual Costing -> Performing Multilevel Material Price Determination-> Error During Multilevel Material Price Determination -> Automatic Error Correction by the System, and read the section Reduction of the Actual BOM.
