Definition

Lower tolerance limit (expressed as a percentage) for the business comparison of the main condition in relation to the compared period values.

Prerequisites

The system only takes account of the business volume comparison tolerance for the comparison of the main condition if a comparison of period conditions is defined in Customizing.

Use

The value entered during the comparison of the main condition can deviate from the total of periodic business volume by this amount (minimum).

Dependencies

  • If a comparison for periods and the main condition is defined in in Customizing for the business volume comparison type, you can specify a business volume comparison tolerance.
  • You assign the business volume comparison type in Customizing for the rebate arrangement type.
  • If the business volume comparison type if set to optional in Customizing, the system uses the updated original business volume as the basis for the periodic total in the periods that have not been compared.

Example

90 % is entered as the lower limit.
The total compared periodic business volume is 10,000 USD.
Settlement accounting can be performed for the main condition if
the business volume is no less than 9,000 USD.

Notes

If you also enter a lower limit in relation to the original business volume, the system takes account of this too.
