You use this indicator to control how cost estimates are selected with reference to specific costing dates.

Use

On the basis of the specified dates, cost estimates are selected according to criteria such as the following:

• Validity area for costing: select overlaps

  All cost estimates are selected whose validity areas fall between the specified dates at all (defined by "Costing date from" and "Costing date to").

• Validity area for costing: complete

  All the cost estimates are selected whose validity areas are contained within the specified dates (defined via 'Costing date from' and "Costing date to").

• "Costing date from" within the specified dates

  All cost estimates are selected that have a "Costing date from" within the specified dates.
