Definition
Indicator that determines whether a cost element itemization for a cost estimate is stored.
Use
The cost element itemization groups the costs for each material according to cost element. The costing items of the itemization are broken down into cost elements in the cost element itemization.
A cost element itemization is automatically generated when you create a cost estimate.
Procedure
If you want to display the cost element itemization in the cost estimate and in reporting, set the indicator when you save the cost estimate.
Note
To improve runtimes and save memory space, SAP recommends that you do not store the cost element itemization in addition to the itemization. Cost element itemizations are only required for results analysis and for cost element reports of the information system. If the system cannot find a cost element itemization, it creates one from the itemization.
If you use your own programs or reports for evaluating your cost element itemizations, you must either store the cost element itemizations or use the CK11_ITEMIZATION_TO_COSX_CONV function module that creates the cost element itemization from the itemization.
