Definition

Enables you to recost either all materials, or only those with errors.

Use

You have executed a costing run, and certain materials have the status KF (costed with errors).

You can repeat the costing run. If this indicator is set, materials already costed in the costing run with status 'KA' (without errors) will not be costed again. This enables you to considerably reduce the length of repeated cost estimates.

Please note:

Materials can retain the 'KA' status even though incoming components have received the 'KF' status (with errors). If the incorrect components are recosted and this indicator is set, the cost estimates of the higher assemblies that have already been costed as 'KA' are not updated.
