Definition
The input quantities were adjusted for multi-level price determination. This can happen in the following cases:
- If the material is in a cycle, the system ignores all input materials whose prices must be determined simultaneously with multi-level price determination in the same cycle.
- If you perform multi-level price determination with the indicator Reduced actual BOM set, the input materials are reduced for all procurement alternatives with errors.
The following reductions to input quantities are possible:
- Minimum from target quantities and actual quantities
You perform the costing run, marking the indicator Reduced actual BOM and it is possible to create a target BOM for a procurement alternative with errors. The minimum target and actual consumption is then used in multi-level price determination.
- Quantity is not taken into account
This can happen in the following situations:
- The input material is in the same cycle as the material to be costed. In this case, the input material is ignored by the system.
- You perform the costing run, with the indicator Reduced actual BOM set, and no target BOM can be calculated for a procurement alternative with errors. In this case, all input materials for this procurement alternative are ignored by the system.
