Definition

This indicator facilitates management of the log for costing in the costing run when there are a large number of system messages. Instead of just one log for costing, you get multiple logs with system messages for the costing levels.

Procedure

For costing runs executed in the background, if you expect that

• the number of system messages will be small enough to easily manage in one log, do not set this indicator
• the number of system messages will be so large that you can better manage them in separate logs by costing level, then set this indicator

Dependencies

The Log indicator in the update parameters for the costing run determines whether logs for costing are saved.

You can also print logs for costing by setting the Log indicator in the print parameters of the costing run.
