Definition

This indicator has the effect that raw materials (materials without a BOM) are valuated on the following basis:

• the system selects the relevant price from the material master according to the valuation strategy.
• The system adds to this price the costs entered in an additive cost estimate.

Use

If you have entered a raw material cost estimate, the costs entered are included in the material valuation. The raw material cost estimate thus influences the results of the material cost estimate carried out using BOMs and routings.
