At the marking and release stages, this number is the equivalent of the amount of plant materials that can be marked or released (without taking into account valuation types). For the material selection/BOM explosion and costing stages, it is the number of objects (that is, materials, valuation types, procurement alternatives, and so on) for which a cost estimate can be executed.
