Use
In addition to the characteristics already available in the system, such as "Sales district" (BZIRK) or "Material group" (MATKL), additional characteristics can be "user-defined" for Profitability Analysis.
Contrary to the characteristics transferred from the tables, the "user-defined" characteristics do not possess any origin information and the characteristic value cannot be automatically derived from other characteristics with postings. A derivation rule must be defined for these characteristics within the derivation strategy.
