Definition
If you select this field, the system branches to the characteristic selection screen within the definition of a drill-down report.
You can put together the characteristics for the report on this screen. With some characteristics, you can determine that they must be selected. In this case, the selection will just be displayed, it cannot be changed.
If you find a characteristic on the selection list, whose selection you cannot undo, it could be because you are dealing with a currency-bearing characteristic. If you use, for example, key figure 'Revenue in company currency', 'Company code' is the currency-bearing characteristic. It must then always be selected when the key figure belonging to it is selected.
Please note, that the quantity of the characteristics, which is offered in the characteristic selection, is limited by the selection conditions which were created in the form. If you have already specified a characteristic unequivocally in the form, this is no longer offered in the characteristic selection.
The characteristics can be offered in the characteristic groups. These groups are put together in customizing. If no entry field for characteristic groups is offered on the screen then no characteristic groups have been defined in customizing yet.
