Definition

The color sequence determines in which colors the values are displayed in exception reporting. The color of a value is always determined in relation to two thresholds. Of these two thresholds, only one may be blank.

For example, when you use the color sequence green/red, the following four situations are possible:

  1. You set both thresholds. The lower threshold is lower than the upper one. All values which are smaller than the lower threshold will appear in green. Between the lower and upper threshold, the values will appear in the background color. Values which are greater than the upper threshold will appear in red.
  2. You set the lower threshold. The upper one is blank. All values smaller than the lower threshold will appear in green. Any values greater than this threshold will appear in the background color.
  3. You set the upper threshold and left the lower one blank. All values which are smaller than the lower threshold will appear in the background color. Any values greater than this threshold will appear in red.
  4. You set both thresholds. The lower threshold is identical to the upper threshold. All values which are smaller than the threshold will appear in green. Any values which are greater than the threshold will appear in red.

A value which appears in the background color appears in the color in which values normally appear when no exception has been defined.
