Definition
If you select this function, valuation is executed using the original posting date for the line item being revaluated, as opposed to using the date when the transaction was executed.
Example:
Two line items are posted with posting dates 18.11.98 and 1.2.99 respectively. You execute periodic valuation on 31.3.99. With the standard setting, valuation is read with the date "31.3.99" in the case of both line items. When you select this function, however, the first line item is valuated with the date "18.11.98" and the second line item with the date "1.2.99".
