Use
This currency is the currency in which you want to enter your plan data during the current planning session.
When you save your plan data, the system translates the values into the database currency before saving them in the database. In costing-based Profitability Analysis, this is either the operating concern currency or the company code currency, depending on how the current plan version was defined. In account-based Profitability Analysis, it is the currency of the controlling area.
Similarly, the system translates the values from the database currency to the entry currency before displaying them on the screen.
If you do not specify an entry currency, the system uses the database currency by default.
If you are planning posting periods, the system translates the values using period-specific exchange rates. If you are planning weeks, the system uses week-specific exchange rates. The first day of the period or week is used as the exchange rate date.
The system uses the exchange rate type that was specified in the definition of your plan version.
