Definition
This indicator determines whether the profitability segments planned are to be checked for compatibility with the derivation strategy.
Examples
Product group A is derived from product 00000001. If you activate the check function, it is not possible to plan values for the combination of product 00000001 and product group B. If the check is not active, the system does not report an error when you plan data for this segment.
Thus activating the indicator lets you restrict planning to those objects that are compatible with the relevant derivation strategy.
