Definition

Name of an interface design.

Use

Entering an interface design activates the function Values -> Interface design in the configuration editor. You can use this function to arrange the characteristics according to criteria that you define. You can assign any name to an interface design.

This field is only available for entry if the material is allocated to a class.

You can assign an interface design to several materials that are assigned to the same class and therefore have the same characteristics. When you configure these materials, you automatically start with the characteristics groups that you defined in your interface design.
