Definition

This option replaces all user master records in the current client with the source client user master records.

The user profiles and roles are part of the customizing and are always copied with it. If only user master records are selected, the authorizations are also copied.

For this service, you need authorization to maintain all user groups. The initial user SAP* has this authorization. In an individual user it is the following authorization:

User Authorizations -> Authorizations for Object User Maintenance: User Groups -> Field User Group = "*" and Activity "1"

In a local copy, you can also copy user authorizations and profiles from another client, but the authorization profiles and roles are taken from the customizing source client.
