Definition

During a settlement run, you have the option to settle only documents with a certain last digit ( = the last digit of a 10-digit document number).

You can therefore carry out 10 settlement runs simultaneously with each run selecting only one last digit. This also ensures an even workload since all possible last digits are evenly distributed among the document numbers (internally or externally assigned).

If the last digits entered overlap, for example:

  • First settlement run: Last digits 0 - 6
  • Second settlement run: Last digits 5 - 9,

they will be refused by the settlement program.

If no last digits are specified, the system selects all documents for settlement.
