Definition
Each time sheet record is identified by a unique document number. The document number is assigned sequentially by the system.
If data entered using the time sheet is subject to an approval procedure, a record must be approved before it is assigned a document number.
If there is no integrated approval procedure, the system assigns the document number once the record has been released.
