Definition
The usage of the charges rate is controlled via this argument. The calculation can differ as to whether
- the charges are calculated from the bill of exchange amount or from the difference between that amount and the lower limit of the respective presentation charge.
- the charge is an absolute rate or is to be calculated dependent on the remaining term.
Special form: Spanish Bills of Exchange Tax
The Spanish Bills of Exhange Tax is defined as a fixed amount for every new thousand currency units. To define this special form in the charge table, the fixed amount must be defined as a percentage of a thousand currency units. You must enter 'T' as the charge rate type, so that the bill of exchange amount is rounded up to the nearest thousand in the tax calculation. The tax is then determined as a percentage of this amount.
