Generator: Search pattern
Use
Replaces a character string or pattern pair.
Because of all the renaming in connection with generation, texts often need to be replaced. In the simplest form a character string, the search pattern, is replaced by another, the replacement pattern. In more complicated cases, pairs of patterns are replaced.
