Documentation
Definition
Identifies a subobject type that is part of an external business object for the commission system, according to the construction.
Use
After a commission application has been constructed, the subobjects of a business object share the attributes of that business object. These are made available after entry in the commission system (object data for the primary entry) in the corresponding database tables and process structures during processing (metdata of the commission case and document) and afterwards (commission document). In your application construction, you specify each attribute for each subobject type.
For more information on giving attributes to subobject types, see the implementation guide (IMG) under Commissions -> Application Administration -> General Settings -> Design Adjustment of Commission Application -> Commission Application Construction.
Example
Examples of subobject types in the insurance industry are:
- Insurance policy
- Insured object
- Insurance cover
- Insurance product
