Definition

Methods that can be performed in a worklist for object assignment.

Use

You can use the following methods:

  • Object Selection
Selects objects for selection sets in assignment sets. Object selection can be repeated as often as desired in the user interface for managing object assignments. When background processing is scheduled, object selection for assignment sets is not repeated.
  • Target Object Selection
Selects target objects for selection sets in assignment sets. The same remarks on repeatability apply as for the method Object Selection.
  • Create Assignment Instructions
Prepares the execution of object assignment. In all selected assignment sets, each selected object (see Object Selection method) is associated with each selected target object (see Target Object Selection method). The same remarks on repeatability apply as for the Object Selection method.
  • Carry Out Assignments
For each assignment group, the assignment instructions in the associated sets are transferred to the connected application. The method can be restarted. Each time it is restarted, only the instructions with the status Not Processed or Processed with Errors are transferred. The processing of assignments cannot be started in the user interface for managing object assignments but only by scheduling background processing.
