Documentation
Definition
Indicates that background processing will be started immediately when process step execution has been scheduled in the assignment process.
Use
Dependencies
In all cases in which a name for the background job for process step scheduling was specified, it is also necessary to specify a start time for background processing. You can enter a start time explicitly or select Start Immediately. In this case, the date of background processing is assumed to be the current date at the time the process step is scheduled in the SAP Business Workflow.
Scheduled background jobs for a process step can be viewed in the user interface for managing object assignments when displaying or changing the process with Process -> Background Jobs.
