Use

The Framework for Object Assignment does not have any requirements regarding how share numbers are to be interpreted. It is the task of the connected application to establish standards for interpreting share numbers and ensure that such standards are adhered to in object assignment.

Example

Within entitlement and liability transfer in Incentive and Commission Management, the share number is interpreted as a percentage. The sum of all assignment shares for a remuneration entitlement must equal 100.
