Definition
Key that identifies the object or target object in the result structure for the transfer of object or target object data between the Framework for Object Assignment and the connected application.
Use
The object key enables the connected application to identify the object to be assigned and the target object to which it is to be assigned. The object key is exchanged when the methods of the application plug are executed for selecting or searching for objects and target objects. The worklist for object assignment only lists objects and target objects by their key. The user interface for managing object assignments reads additional attributes from the connected application at runtime.
Dependencies
The key of a selected object or target object is transferred into the assignment instruction.
