Definition

Specifies the release level necessary for release of the process step before the system can resume processing the step in the assignment process.

Use

Possible release levels:

• First release level
  Release by a processor is sufficient for the system to resume processing the step.
• Second release level
  Release by a processor is not sufficient. Another processor must release the step after the first release level is reached in order for processing to resume.

Dependencies

For the release level to be interpreted, the process step must be marked Release is Required.
