The specified processor will be given a decision task for error handling in the Business Workplace in the following situations:

• Background processing of the affected process step could not be scheduled. This can happen for example when the user master assigned to the SAP Business Workflow has no authorization to schedule background jobs.
• Errors occurred while the process step was being executed.

Possible decision alternatives:

• Stop the assignment process until the error has been clarified
• Resume the assignment process without taking preventive measures
• Repeat the faulty process step after correcting the error
• Terminate the assignment process
