Definition

Indicates the name of the background job for scheduling background processing of the process step in the assignment process.

Use

A job name is required for the process steps of all methods of the process controller. The only exception is Check Worklist in Dialog.

Dependencies

If you specify a job name, you must also enter the start time for background processing. You can specify the start time explicitly or select Start Immediately . The date for background processing is always the current date of the process step running at that time in the SAP Business Workflow.

The scheduled background jobs for a process step can be viewed in the user interface for managing object assignments when displaying or changing the process with Process -> Background Jobs.
