Definition
If you want to output a specific error message in the event of a negative authorization check, you must enter the fields message class, message number (minimum), and message number (maximum).
The reason why you have to enter two message numbers (minimum and maximum) is as follows: If the maximum amount is exceeded during an authorization check, the message that is output is different to the message that would be output if the minimum amount had not been reached. If one of these three fields has not been entered, the system outputs standard messages.
When you create messages using variables, you must note that the authorization function module always outputs two variables. The first variable is the amount, quantity, or other figure. The second is the relevant currency, unit, or otherwise.
